A POPULAR Indian restaurant in Glasgow has closed due to the 'state of the restaurant industry'.
New Gandhi, located in Govanhill in the city's Southside, has decided not to renew their lease at number 441 Victoria Road.
Their website has been updated to read the following statement: "Due to the current state of the restaurant industry, we have decided not to renew our lease.
"We apologise to our loyal customers and hope to one day be serving you again."
This comes after New Gandhi's sister restaurant Danny Singhs closed its doors to customers in 2017.
