A MAN has been arrested in connection with a 'stabbing' in Glasgow city centre.
Officers were called to Union Street in the early hours of this morning after receiving a report of a serious assault.
It is understood that a man was stabbed.
A 33-year-old was arrested in connection with the alleged offence and will appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the serious assault of a man which happened at around 1am on Sunday, August 14, 2022 in Union Street, Glasgow.
"The victim was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
"The 33-year-old man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, August 15 2022."
