Glasgow City Council has warned of 'widespread disruption' to services as a result of planned strike action from cleansing staff.
The upcoming strikes will affect bin collection and street cleansing services from August 24 to September 1 and then again from September 7 to 10.
During these times, households are asked not to present their bins for kerbside collection.

GCC has also said that collections from communal bin areas will be affected with a potential delay in returning to normal schedules.

If your scheduled collection days do not fall on strike dates then you will be able to present your bin for collection as normal.
The disruption to services comes after union members rejected a “derisory” pay offer earlier this week.
At a meeting on Monday, Unison unanimously agreed to reject the revised offer outright and voted overwhelmingly to continue with their strike plans at councils across Scotland.
