GLASGOW'S St Enoch Centre is set to host a Superhero Weekend to raise funds for charity.

The shopping centre will have a weekend of "fun-raising" activities, including superhero appearances, as part of the annual charity fundraising day One Great Day to raise money for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.

During the weekend of September 17 and 18, Batman, Spider-Man and Iron Man will make guest appearances at the centre, while shoppers can also join in with a range of other activities including face painting, arts and crafts and a pop-up shop.

Glasgow Times:

Anne Ledgerwood, St. Enoch Centre’s director, said: "We are delighted to be taking part in this great initiative by hosting a superhero weekend for all our shoppers to enjoy while at the same time raising money for children’s charities.

"St. Enoch Centre has supported Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity with fundraising events in the centre for several years now, and with Batman and Spider-Man on the guest list, we are confident that the Superhero Weekend will be an out-of-this-world experience that the whole family can enjoy."
