One commented: "Talking about another series of LOD?"

Another added: "So season 7 then?"

A third added: "We NEED season 7. A proper finale to this great series!"

It comes after Adrian Dunbar, who plays DCS Ted Hastings in the show, revealed that a return of the AC-12 crew could be on the cards.

He said: "There’s been talk about a movie or a four-parter or two [episodes of] 90 minutes. We’d love to do it again. I’m really hoping something might happen next year."

He also stated that the disappointing discovery of Ian Buckells as H was not all as it seems, suggesting that they still need to catch the 'real H'.
