A man convicted of killing a stranger after pushing her from a pier into the water will have to wait to learn his fate.
Jacob Foster, 29, shoved Charmaine O'Donnell later claiming it was a "bit of fun".
The 25-year-old charity worker plunged to her death at Helensburgh Pier in Argyll and Bute on April 23 2021.
Charmaine passed away due to severe neck injuries and drowning.
Foster had been due to be sentenced in Glasgow this week having earlier been found guilty of Charmaine's culpable homicide.
But, the hearing was postponed and Foster is now next due back in the dock on October 6 in Edinburgh before judge Lord Fairley.
The killer - who suffers from a learning disability - had been accused of murder.
His lawyers had lodged a special defence of diminished responsibility, but this was rejected by jurors.
Foster, also of Helensburgh, had his bail continued after the trial last month.
