A city centre chip shop has been taped off by police.
Images show the front of the Blue Lagoon chippy on Sauchiehall Street with a huge hole, as the window appears to have been shattered.
A police van is parked at the scene, while the restaurant is cordoned off by tape.
The force confirmed that they had been called to a report of vandalism in the early hours of the morning.
They are now investigating the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5am on Wednesday, 21 September, 2022, officers were called to a report of a vandalism on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
