A new city centre coffee shop is planning to give away 100 free hot drinks to celebrate its first days in business.

Off The Rails opened its doors to customers for the first time this morning in the former home of Cafe Nero on Dundas Street.

Glasgow Times:

Just a stone's throw from Queen Street Station, the independently owned spot looks set to become a favourite among commuters thanks to its artisan roasted coffee and a menu of sandwiches, morning rolls and salads curated by the chefs at Rioja in Finnieston.

There's space for 20 people in the cosy spot which has been fully redesigned with interiors by Edinburgh-based studio Ja!Coco!.

Tomorrow, Off The Rails will give out hot drinks including a choice of cappuccinos, lattes, mochas and more between 10am and 2pm.
