A man is accused of having stun guns disguised as an iPhone and a torch.
Saqib Shahid is said to have been in possession of the devices at his home in Giffnock, East Renfrewshire on May 1 last year.
The 31-year-old faces alternative charges of having a prohibited weapon designed for the discharge of a "noxious liquid, gas or thing".
Shahid is further accused of drug supply allegations in connection with an address in the city's Pollokshields on the same date.
Lawyers on his behalf pleaded not guilty at a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
Shahid, still of Giffnock, is due to stand trial on October 30 2023.
His bail was continued meantime.
