A FIGHT broke out on a train to Glasgow sparking a 999 response.

Transport cops rushed to Glasgow Queen Street station on Monday after two groups of people began fighting on a late-night service. 

They were escorted off the train and had their details taken by officers.

An investigation has been launched into the incident. 

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended Glasgow Queen street railway station at 10.55pm on October 3 following reports of a fight between two groups on board a train.

"Those involved were removed from the train and the station and officers took their details.

"Enquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
