A Rangers hero was recently spotted dining at a popular Glasgow restaurant. 

Danish star Brian Laudrup, 53, who played for the Ibrox team from 1994 to 1999, popped into beloved Indian eatery Mister Singh's over the weekend. 

TalkSport presenter David Tanner also dined at the city centre restaurant and shared a photo on his Twitter page after meeting up with Brian.

He wrote: "A Saturday curry at the superb Mister Singh's. Great to bump into new grandad, Brian Laudrup. Always a class act."

 

Fans were delighted to see one of their club heroes back in Glasgow, with one commenting: "Thank god I wasn’t in there, I think I’d have caused a scene."

Another said: "Oh what a player he was for Rangers."

A third wrote: "I wish I was there to meet him my all-time fav[ourite] Rangers player."

Laudrup will appear with fellow ex-Rangers player Paul Gascoigne in An Evening with Laudrup and Gascoigne at the city's SEC on Sunday night. 

Mister Singh's has been a popular choice of famous faces in the past, with Hollywood actor Mel Gibson choosing to dine there when he was last visiting Glasgow.
