Fans have ripped into Lewis Capaldi after he shared a throwback photo of his school days 'bragging' about his perfect attendance.
The Glasgow-born singer, who attended St Joseph's primary in Whitburn, was featured in a newspaper article which celebrated him and two other West Lothian pupils for not missing a single day of school.
Lewis posted a photo of the article which shows him in his school uniform with a long fringe swept across his face, holding his certificate.

He joked: "That’s the difference between me and you. Cause while you were sitting around waiting, doing nish. I was out making moves. #NoDaysOff."

The post quickly garnered a response from fans who began to joke about his showing off - and his school years look.
One commented: "Who needs a Grammy when you can get honoured at school for not missing a day."
Another said: "You always had style."
A third added: "I had 100% attendance, but somehow I ain’t selling out stadiums worldwide."
