A popular Glasgow spot will soon be transformed into a winter wonderland, just in time for Christmas party planning.

From Friday, November 24 the Cranside Kitchen will bring together a carefully curated collection of street food vendors, festive drinks and live entertainment for a Scandi-inspired Winter Village.

The Tunnel Street venue will be given a makeover with a healthy dose of Hygge thanks to a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of heated blankets and an irresistibly instagrammable giant Christmas tree.

Taking care of festive foodies will be a lineup of resident restaurants including Romanos, Halloumi and XI’AN as well as two brand-new stalls offering winter specials like hog roasts, bratwurst and Gluhwein.

Alongside a programme of live DJ sets and entertainment throughout the festive season, visitors can look forward to screenings of World Cup Matches with bookings for private parties available.

For a more relaxed evening cosy up in one of the venue's cosy snug areas for a mulled wine or head to the rooftop cocktail and whisky bar which is sure to be a hit no matter what Glasgow’s winter weather brings.

The Cranside Winter Village will be open from 12pm until late from Thursday, November 24 until Sunday, January 1 2023.
