The opening date for a major beer company's flagship taproom in Glasgow has been confirmed.
Scottish brewer Innis & Gunn will replace the former Bill's restaurant on West Nile Street and will open on Monday, November 28.
To mark the day, 5000 free pints are being given away to those who register.
It comes after we reported that they had been given the go-ahead in April to open the taproom, creating 40 jobs.
This will be their second Glasgow premises, joining the bar in the West End's Ashton Lane.
Ahead of the grand opening, beer bosses are celebrating the occasion with a launch night.
Guests are invited to enjoy a free pint on arrival, bar nibbles, limited edition brews, exclusive prizes and live performances on Saturday, November 26.
Commenting on the launch, Innis & Gunn founder Dougal Gunn Sharp said: “West Nile Street’s opening represents the next stage in our Taproom plan.
"The demand for great beers and great food is there in Glasgow so we’re confident our new city centre premises will be a welcome addition.
“We want to give Glasgow beer and lager lovers the full Innis & Gunn experience so we’re kicking off the celebrations with a party on Saturday, November 26 followed by our free pint giveaway on Monday, November 28.
"Come on Glasgow, let’s see how quickly we can get through those 5,000 pints!”
To enter the pints giveaway, participants must be of legal drinking age and submit their name and email to innisandgunn.com/5000pints.
The launch event is first come, first served to 250 people and you can register for invitations here.
