Man charged after 'stolen tyres found' while many more still missing (Image: Pixabay)
A man has been arrested in connection with multiple thefts.
Officers recovered a large number of tyres in both Glasgow and Lanarkshire after incidents of theft were reported at tyre yards in Newmains and Chapelhall in September.
While they have been found, cops are saying that a 'significant' amount of tyres are still missing.
Investigations into the thefts are continuing.
Meanwhile, the 46-year-old man is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court in connection to the alleged incidents.
