A man has died following a police incident in Glasgow on Sunday night.
Cops were called to the scene around 8pm on November 20 after they were made aware of concerns for a man near the M8.
It is understood that the incident happened near Baird Street close to Royston.
The 52-year-old was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and died shortly after.
The death is being treated as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of concern for a man found at a bridge crossing the M8 close to Baird Street in Glasgow around 7.55pm on Sunday, 20 November.
“The 52-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary but was pronounced dead a short time later.
“His death is being treated as unexplained but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
