A teenager who was searched by cops in Glasgow has reportedly been caught carrying a sword.
Officers from the force's Divisional Violence Reduction Unit (DVRU) were carrying out patrols in the city centre on Saturday night when they stopped and searched a 16-year-old boy.
They say that when they conducted a search of the teen, they found a sword with an 18-inch blade on his person.
He has been arrested in connection with possession of a weapon and is expected to appear in court at a later date.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.30pm on Saturday, November 26, 2022, officers in Glasgow responded to a report of a male in possession of a weapon on Jamaica Street, Glasgow.
“The male was traced a short time later on Hope Street and the weapon was recovered.
“A 16-year-old male youth was arrested in connection with possession of the weapon and is expected to appear at court at a later date.”
