Car parking charges will be suspended while locals and visitors do their Christmas shopping in towns across Dunbartonshire.
East Dunbartonshire's Council's car parks in Bearsden, Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch and Milngavie will not require a fee on the four Saturdays leading up to Christmas.
It comes as the council is pushing the Scotland Loves Local campaign and encouraging people to support local independent businesses over the festive season.

Councillor Gordan Low said: "We will once again be suspending charges in our town centre car parks on the four Saturdays leading up to Christmas.
"If you're out and about then please support local shops, hospitality venues and service providers if you can.
"We would encourage people to walk, cycle, scoot or use public transport where possible, but if you need to drive then you will be able to park for free on Saturdays 3, 10, 17 and 24 December."
For safety reasons, parking wardens will be enforcing restrictions where vehicles are parked inappropriately.
