ELEVEN Glasgow restaurants have won top awards at a prestigious national ceremony.
The Scottish Asian Food Awards returned for a third year to recognise the country's best Asian cuisine, from Indian to Korean, and local eateries cleaned up at the event.
Indian restaurant Madras Cafe won South Indian Restaurant of the Year and said they found out about the "great achievement" while attending The British Curry Awards - known as the 'curry Oscars' - in London.
Meanwhile, Nippon Kitchen took home the prize for Best Japanese Restaurant, and the team thanked their loyal customers for their "continuous support".
The glamorous black-tie event was held at the city's Marriott hotel on Monday evening, and some of the country's most talented chefs gathered to celebrate the industry's best restaurants and takeaways.
A spokesperson for the awards said: “We’d like to say a massive congratulations to all winners and finalists from the 3rd Scottish Asian Food Awards 2022.
“This campaign designed to honour all varieties of Asian cuisine has done brilliantly across Scotland and it started in 2018.
“We’re proud to honour and celebrate the individuals who open Scotland’s doors to Asia’s kitchen.”
