Cops lockdown road in Glasgow as area taped off amid 'incident' (Image: Newsquest)
An area of Glasgow has been sealed off by cops amid an incident.
We previously reported that Bain Street was closed between Gallowgate and Moncur Street as emergency services scrambled to the scene of an ongoing incident.
Images from the scene show police vehicles and an ambulance parked on the street while blue tape has been placed in a cordon around the street next to the park.
Some officers were seen taping up more of the surrounding area and diverting traffic away from the road while others in forensic gloves were taking swabs from the ground.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
