Two Glasgow politicians will meet to discuss the cost-of-living crisis.

Alison Thewliss MP and Kaukab Stewart MSP are giving constituents a chance to raise their concerns about the impact of rising costs at an upcoming surgery.

It will take place at Townhead Village Hall on Friday, December 2 at 12pm.

Speaking about the joint surgery, Alison Thewliss MP said: “Many constituents will be feeling the pinch of the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

"It is so important that MPs and MSPs are supporting their constituents in any way they can during what will be a difficult time.

“Kaukab and I will be available for all concerns from constituents and aim to work together to deal with any matters that are raised at the surgery."

Kaukab Stewart MSP added: “Individuals throughout the Glasgow Kelvin constituency, and beyond, are suffering hardship at present due to the cost-of-living crisis and alongside Alison, I want to ensure our constituents know what support is available for them.

“The surgery will bring together both local and national organisations, such as Advice Direct Scotland and Home Energy Scotland, for constituents to receive advice free of charge."
