A Glasgow cafe will temporarily close in order to undergo renovations.
East End spot The Pelican Cafe, specialising in traditional and Italian food, will be closed for the foreseeable while the venue undergoes a refurbishment.
The team from the Shettleston Road eatery teased the plans to customers on social media and promised that they will be "back and better than ever" once they reopen.
They will be updating followers with an opening date soon.
