A WEST End pub has been renamed after film crews for a popular prison drama set up a new set for filming.

Lock 27 in the city's Anniesland told punters that they will be called Oak & Hound for a day while film crews for season two of Screw take over the venue.

The Crow Road pub posted on Facebook: "The pub has been renamed! But only for a day.

"Lock 27 has become the Oak & Hound for the filming of the TV series Screw 2.

"Just in case anyone was getting worried!"

We reported last month that filming for Screw began in the city.

The STV production for Channel 4 is recorded on a purpose-built set in the state-of-the-art Kelvin Hall studio and follows the story of staff and inmates at a busy men's prison.

Series two, featuring Derry Girls actress Jamie Lee O'Donnell and His Dark Materials star Leigh Henry, will pick up from the tragic events of last year's season finale.
