LORD Provost Jacqueline McLaren hosted the Baby's First Christmas event in the City Chambers on Saturday for the first time since the pandemic.
Hundreds of Glasgow's newest citizens and their families joined the Lord Provost with 250 tiny tots posing for photos to commemorate the special occasion.
One thousand of Glasgow’s infants were invited to the Baby’s First Christmas celebration where they received a silver-coloured trinket and a certificate to mark the occasion.
Baby’s First Christmas is a unique festive event organised by Glasgow City Council.
The popular family event has attracted thousands of babies and their proud parents since it began back in 2005.
Babies were dressed in their Christmas best for the event.
Three-month-old Milo Mackay from Croftfoot was decked out in his mini-Santa suit.
11-month-old twins Paityn and Paisley Mackie from Baillieston wore matching red velvet outfits.
Some of the youngsters were not shy about letting the Lord Provost know they weren't happy.
Little nine-month-old Noah from Baillieston was not shy at all as he had his picture taken with the Lord Provost.
