Two Scottish TikTok stars have donated a range of toys to a Glasgow service charity this Christmas.

Cole and Abbie, who have 3 million followers on the popular social media platform, passed in toys to the Quarriers Ruchazie Family Resource Centre and Nursery in Glasgow's East End.

Quarriers Family Resource Centre works with families experiencing difficulties, including poverty and domestic abuse, and helps them to overcome whatever challenges they are facing.

Glasgow Times:

Abbie Howat spoke about her and cole's reason for donating.

She said: “Cole and I have worked tirelessly over the past two years via social media, which has given us a massive reach to people around the world, which has been fantastic. But this also opened our eyes to just how many people struggle daily.

"This has saddened us greatly, so we decided to use our platforms to create a positive place, which allows us to be able to donate all that we receive to as many charities as possible.

"We have previously been in a place where we struggled almost daily and feel extremely grateful to now be able to help others and will continue to do so for as long as our platforms allow.

"Donating to our local community and charities further afield is so important to us as we are a team and a community of love.”

Cole and Abbie's donations have now been collected and are being distributed to the children supported by the Quarriers Ruchazie Family Resource Centre and Nursery in Glasgow just in time for Christmas.

Cole Howat, who delivered the toys, took time to visit the centre and see what services it offers to children and families in the area.

Glasgow Times:

Debbie Hamilton, the service co-ordinator for Ruchazie Family Resource Centre and Nursery, said: "The service was just blown away with such a generous donation of gifts this year, more than any other with the current cost of living crisis."

While Rhonda McKinney, depute manager, added: "We will never be able to thank Cole and Abbie enough for the immense amount of pressies that they brought to us.

"Their kindness will bring a smile to so many kids in the East End of Glasgow.

"They are a wonderful couple and on behalf of all our staff and the children, we wish them a very merry Christmas."
