Sir Rod Stewart has revealed the gender of his newest grandchild in a recent Instagram video.
The 77-year-old singer shared the announcement of the gender of his daughter Ruby Stewart and partner Jack Kalick's first child to his 1.2m followers on the social media website.
The legendary singer revealed in a video, "it's a boy" while excitedly punching the air.
As Ruby, who he had with model ex Kelly Emberg in 1987, and Kalick hugged in delight, Rod shouted, "Born a Celtic" and sang "another wrinkle in the Stewart family."
Alongside the video, 35-year-old Ruby told of her pregnancy on social media on Monday, stating she "can't wait to meet" the newest family addition in April.
Many members of the Stewart family commented on the post, including Sir Rod, who wrote: "So happy for the two of you 👶💚"
This will be Stewart's second grandchild.
