Gerard Butler has grossed out fans after eating a mystery item hidden under a TV host's kilt.
The actor appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show recently and in one segment he was tasked with guessing what was under co-host Ross Matthews' kilt.
Ross gave both Gerard and Drew some clues relating to the food item, including that it was a popular choice at picnics and that it featured in an iconic episode of The Office.

The Plane star was struggling to answer, but as soon as the timer stopped he guessed: "Scotch egg."
He then retrieved the item from under the kilt and ate it, which had Drew and the audience screaming.
Fans reacted to the moment, with one commenting: "I'm crying, shocking, can't hold tears."
Another wrote: "Oh God! A brave intention also to eat it."
A third added: "It was gross when he ate that thing."
