Lewis Capaldi has responded to fans after they became concerned for him during one of his shows.

The 26-year-old singer/songwriter was made aware of a video clip of him performing which showed him twitching, and that this had resulted in some people commenting on their worries for the star.

But the Pointless singer has taken to TikTok to reassure fans that he is alright and explained the reason for the behaviour.

He said: "I've seen this video here doing the rounds on TikTok and I see a lot of people in the comments concerned because I'm twitching quite a lot.

"I'm doing this quite a lot and look a bit uncomfortable. I've got Tourette's so I'm just twitching quite a bit but it's not an issue in the slightest. I'm absolutely fine.

"It's just that this happens when I get tired, nervous, excited or whatever so it just gets more intense."

He finished by thanking all his fans for coming to his gig and said it was an "incredible" night.
