A WHITE Lotus star has been inundated with suggestions from locals after touching down in Scotland. 

Alexandra Daddario, who played Rachel Patton in the first series of the HBO dark comedy, shared some images of her recent trip.

The American actress posted a photo of Tunnock's teacakes which she had bought, and many fans were quick to comment on her choice of local snack.

One said: "Who doesn't love Tunnock's tea cakes?"

Another added: "You just know when someone is in the UK when they have tea cakes."

Meanwhile, others offered recommendations on other things for the New York native to try.
