A bakery in East Dunbartonshire was crowned as the home of the "best apple pie in Scotland".
Peter's Bakery, in Kirkintilloch, took home the prestigious award at the 2023 World Championship Scotch Pie Awards.
The bakery also received bronze for their steak and haggis pies.

In a celebratory Facebook post, the staff said: "First of all, we received the bronze award for our delicious Steak & Haggis Pies, which is very fitting as today is Burns Day!
"We are also immensely proud to let you all know that we are officially the home of the best apple pie in the country.
"We were declared Apple Pie Champions, taking the first place diamond award!
"This was a fantastic achievement which recognises the hard work and dedication that our whole team put in everyday!
"We would also like to thank everyone one of you for supporting us! It means the world to us all, the kind words and support you give the bakery, and we are delighted to be able to serve you all."
