There's exciting news for the city's music fans today with over 50 acts joining the line up for this year's TRNSMT festival.
We previously reported that big names including Pulp, Sam Fender and The 1975 had been confirmed as headliners for the popular event which returns to Glasgow Green from Friday, July 7 to Sunday, July 9.

This morning it was revealed that talented local artists including Joesef and Declan Welsh and the Decadent West will also take to the stage on day one of three.
Brit nominee Mimi Webb is amongst the new acts listed for Saturday alongside The Wombats and former X Factor star Lucy Spraggan.
Sunday will see performances from Pale Waves and TikTok favourites Crawlers before The 1975 bring the weekend to a close.

Geoff Ellis, Festival Director of TRNSMT said: “The lineup for TRNSMT 2023 has just got bigger with the addition of 50 more acts playing across the weekend.
"The new additions are a fantastic mix of some of the hottest artists in the UK right now, packed with BRIT Award nominated and winning acts Mimi Webb, FLO, Cat Burns and LF System as well as festival favourites Nothing But Thieves, The Wombats, and The View.
"We also have viral sensations Cian Ducrot, Nati Dreddd, and Lucy Spraggan plus so much more.
“TRNSMT has well and truly established itself as Scotland’s premier music festival and we are so looking forward to seeing all the fans back at Glasgow Green this July.”
