The pup, who lives in the city's Southside, was diagnosed in January following months of tests after he started getting breathless and his tongue would turn blue when he exercised.

The incurable lung disease causes scar tissue which results in low oxygen and breathing problems and has resulted in three-year-old Ted sometimes needing to use a buggy as he can't walk far anymore.

Holly, who runs a pet accessories business named after him called Ted's Threads, says she was heartbroken when the golden retriever was diagnosed and decided to share his bucket-list adventures on as she wants to make the remainder of his life "amazing".

The 21-year-old said: "We were absolutely devastated when we found out about Ted’s condition.

"To know you’re going to lose a dog at any time is heartbreaking but with him only being three it somehow seems worse.

"I wanted to share his bucket list on social media to help show everyone what a loving dog he is and to share these memories with other people.

"He’s had such an amazing life and I want to make whatever time he has left just as amazing."

So far, Ted has enjoyed days out including a trip to Edinburgh Castle, getting a puppuccino and making a paw print necklace.

He still has some items to look forward to including having a steak dinner, going for a picnic and watching a sunset.

Since sharing Teds's diagnosis on TikTok, the video has received more than 417,000 views, with more than 47,000 people now following the account.

Holly, who is also mum to four-month-old Lyla, says she has been grateful for the support since she started posting about Ted's illness.

She said: "The response has been amazing, we’ve had thousands of well wishes, people sharing their experiences with pet illness and loss and we’ve even been gifted photoshoots, dog biscuits, prints of ted and a jumper with his face embroidered on it.

"Everyone has been so kind and can see how loving Ted is."
