Grzybek hit the headlines in 2018 after he was locked up for stalking a woman on his round in Inverness.

The Polish national attempted to deliver unwanted items such as a Star Wars toothbrush and flowers to her.

Prosecutor Henna Chaudry told Glasgow Sheriff Court: "There are concerns he has offended against children and vulnerable women in the community as well as females acting in their professional role."

Grzybek was in Barlinnie prison on the date of the latest offence when he slammed his cell door shut with force.

Miss Chaudry: "He was asked by the officer why he behaved in such a manner.

"Grzybek grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled his head down.

"Grzybek started to repeatedly punch Mr Dawson on the face and head."

After a struggle, another officer was able to pull Mr Dawson out of the cell and closed the door.

The victim was noted to be dazed with swelling on his forehead.

He was taken to hospital where he initially received an all-clear CT scan.

However, the officer was later diagnosed with showing signs of a mild concussion.

Grzybek pleaded guilty to assaulting Mr Dawson to his injury.

Neil Wilson, defending, told the court that the door was pushed at Grzybek by the prison officer and he reacted.

The lawyer added: "He arrived in the UK in 2007...he worked as a carer and a postman but he has been in custody for the best part of two years."

Sheriff David Taylor told Grzybek: "This was a serious assault on a serving prison officer trying to do his job."
