A Hamilton makeup artist lauded by Helen Flanagan has won a top award.
Kirsty Martin was named Celeb Makeup Artist of the Year at the Scottish Makeup Awards, which was celebrated in a lavish ceremony at Glasgow's Hilton hotel.

She took to Instagram to share the news of her achievement, writing: "On cloud nine still from last night. Celeb Mua of the Year at the Scottish Makeup Awards.
"Thank you thank you thank you.
'So blessed and grateful to be doing my dream job."
Former Coronation Street star Helen, who has appeared with Kirsty at makeup masterclasses in Glasgow, congratulated her on the win.
She wrote: "So proud of you my beautiful friend."
Kirsty is regularly booked by clients including Corrie actress Katie McGlynn, TV presenter Jean Johansson and Miss Great Britain winner Amy Meisak.
