A Glasgow clothing shop is closing as the owners are retiring, after 38 years.

Kids Plus, based in Shettleston Road, is shutting its door for the final time at the end of February.

The shop sells baby and children's clothes.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, owners Willie and Doreen said: "It was 1985 when Doreen and I opened our first business together at Kids Plus 1021 Shettleston Road Glasgow.

"38 years later we have, with mixed emotions we have decided to retire at the end of the month.

"We would like to thank all of our customers, past and present and would love to say thanks and goodbye personally to everyone who has supported us on our wonderful journey and would love to see them on Friday and Saturday, March 3 and 4 for a light refreshment and express our gratitude for continued support throughout the years."
