'Serious' multi-vehicle crash causes overnight road closure (Image: newsquest)
A 'serious' crash involving three vehicles took place in Milngavie last night.
At around 10pm, police issued a statement which said that Auchenhowie Road had been shut between Allandar Toll Roundabout and Glasgow Road as a result of the collision.
They warned that the closure would remain in place for 'some time' as officers carried out their investigations.
There has been no further information provided regarding any injuries following the crash.
It is understood that the road was reopened this morning.
Police Scotland has been contacted for further comment.
