A Glasgow woman has gone viral after sharing the questionable choice of in-flight food being enjoyed by the passenger next to her on a plane.

Lanna Tolland revealed that the person sitting beside her on a flight was tucking into a full rack of ribs and sides.

She shared it on Twitter and has since received over 5 million views and almost 10,000 likes.

The choice left social media users divided, with one person saying: "People at the airport, we order coffees black and croissants. Nothing more."

Another replied: "Nope, I'm going to bring a real meal onto the plane with me if it’s a long flight or I haven’t had food for the day."
