GLASGOW restaurant staff were delighted to host two Celtic players in their venue recently.
The team at Jay's Grill Bar on Bath Street were visited by Celtic women's stars Shen Mengyu and Shen Menglu ahead of their game against Glasgow City on Sunday, which ended in a final score of 1-0 to Glasgow City.
Staff at the Korean restaurant shared a photo of the pair and wrote: "We are very happy that Shen Mengyu and Shen Menglu came to our restaurant, also happy for their recent good performance, we wish them good luck in the game against Glasgow City this afternoon."
When Mengyu, 21, signed for the Hoops in 2021 she was the first Chinese women's player to play in Scotland and went on to help the team win both the Scottish Women's Premier League Cup in 2021 and the 2022 Scottish Women's Cup.
Menglu, 20, joined Celtic in 2022 from Portuguese side Atletico Ouriense.
