Glasgow restaurant staff have congratulated a Hollywood actor on his Oscar win after he visited them.
Brendan Fraser, star of The Mummy, George of the Jungle and more, picked up the gong for Best Actor in a Leading Role at last night's Academy Awards.
And in celebration of his win, the team at Indian spot Bantawala shared a throwback of when the 53-year-old dined with them.
Fraser, who won the Oscar for his role as a man struggling with obesity in The Whale, visited the Byres Road restaurant while he was in the city filming the DC film Batgirl, which went on to be scrapped.
They said: "We hope you’ll find a good reason to visit Glasgow again soon!"
