Works to upgrade traffic signal junction extended following 'adverse weather' (Image: Archive)
WORKS to upgrade a traffic signal junction in the city's East End have been extended.
Works at the junction of London Road with Springfield Road began on Wednesday, February 15 and were due to be completed by Friday, March 17.
However, due to recent adverse weather conditions, the upgrade works have been delayed.
Temporary traffic signals are still in place and will be there for the remaining duration of the works.
It is not known when the works are expected to end.
Road users are urged to approach the junction with care.
