Police have issued an update after a three-car crash in the West End.

999 crews were called to the junction of Byres Road and Havelock Street around 2pm on Thursday afternoon.

We previously reported that the damaged vehicles involved in the multiple-vehicle crash disrupted traffic for around two hours.

The vehicles were moved and the road fully reopened to motorists around 4.25pm.

The force has now launched an investigation into the incident.

Officers remain at the scene and it is unknown if anyone was injured during the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called to a crash involving three vehicles on Byres Road, Glasgow, around 1.55pm on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

“Enquiries are ongoing and officers remain at the scene.”
