Numerous complaints have been made about parking near a new leisure centre sparking a statement from the police.
The £42.5 million Allander Leisure Centre opened to service users on March 9.
One local resident told the Glasgow Times that a 'lack of parking and poor traffic planning' was causing chaos for users and local residents.
Now, police have issued a statement after receiving a number of complaints about the issue.
They said: "A number of parking complaints have been reported near to Allander Leisure Centre, Milngavie.
"Officers from Police Scotland East Dunbartonshire will be in the area to promote road safety and to take appropriate action regarding parking offences; please park safely."
