A man was taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle on a Glasgow road.
Emergency services were called to Maryhill Road today, just before 1.30pm, following reports of the collision.
Police Scotland has confirmed that a man was taken to hospital.
According to reports on social media, the area was cordoned off for a short period of time this afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.25pm, police received a report of a man had been struck by a vehicle on Maryhill Road at Shakespeare Street.
"Emergency services are in attendance and one man has been taken to hospital.
"One man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences and enquiries are ongoing."
