A major investigation appears to be underway following an incident close to a Glasgow pub in the city's East End.

999 crews line the streets of Shettleston Road after responding to the as-yet-unknown incident close to The Railway Tavern pub.

A police cordon is in place across the doors of the city boozer while officers have also lockdown the pavement preventing any pedestrian from accessing the street.

Fire crews said they arrived on the scene just after 2pm to assist 999 colleagues but provided no further details on the incident.
