It was full steam ahead this morning as the Waverley set sail for her first cruise of the season.
Departing from the Glasgow Science Centre, 300 passengers will now make their way to Greenock, Dunoon, Rothesay and through the Kyles of Bute to Tighabruaich.
This year's season will see Waverley offer the "greatest variety of cruises and destinations for over a decade" as she returns to the Bristol Channel, Liverpool and North Wales.
The iconic paddle steamer will also visit Warrenpoint in Northern Ireland before the South Coast and the Isle of Wight as well as London and the Thames later this year.
The Glasgow Times, in partnership with the Waverley, recently ran an incredible competition giving school pupils a chance to sail "doon the water".
After receiving hundreds of amazing entries, we can now announce the winners as Cumbrae Primary.
The runners-up were Our Lady of Loretto Primary, St David’s Primary, Gavinburn Primary, Millersneuk Primary and St Brigid’s Primary.
Well done to all those who took part and we wish the winners a happy trip in the near future.
