A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for Glasgow and surrounding areas.
According to the Met Office, thunderstorms could develop today, causing disruptions.
Forecasters are predicting spray and sudden flooding, which could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
Power cuts, delays and cancellations of public transport services could also be expected.
The warning is in place between 12pm and 9pm today.
The north of the country and some parts of England and Ireland are also affected.
Despite this forecast, temperatures are set to reach 23°C today.
