A man was hospitalised after being attacked by a gang in Glasgow.

The incident took place on Dyke Road in Glasgow's Knightswood, around 4.30pm on Sunday, June 18.

The 32-year-old was seriously assaulted by four or five men.

Emergency services attended and he was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with his injuries following the assault.

Police officers are now appealing for people who were in the area and may have seen the assault.

Detective constable Jennifer Boyle said: “This incident happened in broad daylight so it is likely that members of the public may have witnessed this.

“I am asking for anyone with information, anyone who may have witnessed anything or who may have dash cam footage which could assist, to please come forward.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 2814 of June 18, 2023.
