As a result of the find, Ballantyne's home in East Kilbride was subject to a search.

Prosecutor Jessica McGowan said: "Digital scales were found in working order and blue polythene bags.

"There were 100 snap bags and there were two bags containing 30 grams of white powder later confirmed to be cocaine in the living room.

"These were valued at £600 each bringing the total amount of drugs recovered to be £6,320."

A further £300 in mixed cash notes was also found.

Ballantyne pleaded guilty on Wednesday to being concerned in the supply of cocaine on September 2 2021.

He said: "This is a very serious matter."

Ballantyne was granted bail meantime.
