A Glasgow chicken shop favourite will be serving up a special deal to mark International Chicken Wing Day.

McFly's Chicken is currently operating a pop-up out of the kitchen at local favourite Max's Bar on Queen Street.

Chefs will be serving up portions of wings from 12pm to 5pm on Saturday, July 1 for just £1 a pop.

All of their favourite flavours will be available, including Buffalo, So Soy, Karma Kola, or Tuk Tuk Thai.

Marisa Capaldi, boss at McFly's Glasgow, said: "We can’t wait to fire up the fryers in Max’s Bar to celebrate International Chicken Wing Day.

"We started as a Wing Bar and will always be proud to serve our Pan-Asian style fried chicken wings to our customers.

"If you're not a wing fan, don't worry because our full menu will still be available all day too."

Glasgow Times:

Dario Bernardi from Max's Bar added: "The Max’s & McFly’s collaboration is definitely the hot ticket this summer, and we’re looking forward to welcoming customers to get their fingers dirty on International Chicken Wing Day.

"Whether it’s a frozen margarita or an ice cold beer, we’ve got the perfect accompaniment to McFly’s delicious chicken - and wings for just £1, what more could you ask for?”

McFly's Chicken previously operated in the Southside and has a weekend base at Dockyard Social. They are currently staging a three-month takeover at Max's and their full menu is available seven days a week from 12pm to 9pm.
