A warning has been issued to drivers ahead of essential roadworks.
Multiple roads will be closed in the East End for essential carriageway surfacing works.
Glasgow Road, between Bailieston Road and Huntingtower Road (including Barrachnie Cross junction), Barrachnie Road, and Mount Vernon Avenue in Bailieston will all be closed or partially closed while the works are carried out.
The closures will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Thursday, July 13.
All diversions will be signposted and drivers are warned to approach the area with care.
The diversions are:
• Westbound (Mount Vernon Avenue): Hamilton Road > Killin Street > Shettleston Road > Baillieston Road
• Eastbound from London Rd: Hamilton Road > Killin Street > Shettleston Road > Baillieston Road
• Eastbound from Hamilton Rd: London Road > Carmyle Av > Killin Street > Shettleston Road > Baillieston Road
• Westbound (Barrachnie Road): Edinburgh Road > Hallhill Road > Mansionhouse Drive – Hallhill Road > South Hallhill Road > Shettleston Road > Baillieston Road
• Eastbound (Barrachnie Road): Edinburgh Road > Main Street > Glasgow Road
